He said the staff there was the most important people in town. He was an avid reader and was a frequent visitor of the Winterset Public Library. He was active in the Knights of Columbus. He married Joanne Ford on and they had four children.Ken was a roofing contractor for See and Sons Roofing until 1969 and continued to roof until retirement in 1992.
Ken participated in Operations Crossroads and crossed the 180th Meridian on July 15, 1946. He graduated from East High School in December of 1945 and joined the Navy in January 1946, where he served as a Fireman First Class until 1948. Kenneth See Kenneth See, 94, of Winterset, passed away on Monday, Septemwith his family by his bedside.Kenneth was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 23, 1927, the son of Frank and Ella See.
